Longtime personal injury attorney Tony O’Dell of the Charleston-based law firm, Tiano O’Dell, has been presented with the Martindale-Hubbell Gold Client Champion Award for 2020.
The Martindale-Hubbell Client Champion biennial awards are granted to attorneys nationwide who excel at service as affirmed by their clients. The awards are based on the quantity and quality of an attorney’s Martindale-Hubbell client reviews and portray an ongoing commitment to delivering excellent client service. Gold Champion award recipients stand out from their peers and to potential clients.
Aside from the recent Client Champion Award, O’Dell has received a number of recognitions and prestigious accolades since obtaining his law degree in 1991 from West Virginia University College of Law. He was among the top 100 Trial Lawyers by the American Trial Lawyers Association and inducted into the West Virginia Super Lawyers for 2014-2020.
O’Dell was recently recognized for having one of the top 100 medical malpractice verdicts in the entire country, featured in the 26th Edition of The Best Lawyers in America publication for his high caliber work in 2020, and was also named The Best Attorney in the Valley for three years by the readers of Charleston newspapers.
With over 25 years of experience, O’Dell has handled multi-million dollar cases involving, medical malpractice, wrongful death, car accidents, nursing home neglect and abuse, insurance wrongdoing, and truck accidents. O’Dell takes pride in working diligently and aggressively in representing his clients to ensure justice is served.
He is a member of the American Association for Justice and the West Virginia Association for Justice, where he holds a seat on the Board of Governors. O’Dell is also a member of the West Virginia State Bar.
