Nitro-based recycling facility, WV Cashin Recyclables, will now be extending services from a five-day operation to six days a week.
Located at 1 Pickens Road in Nitro, WV, WV Cashin will now be open Monday through Saturday for all customers. The facility will be open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. until noon on Saturdays.
The facility is also implementing new procedures for contactless recycling to ensure a safer exchange of materials and money. Social distancing is encouraged, and staff members have increased sanitation measures to protect employees and customers.
Currently, WV Cashin accepts non-ferrous metals and scrap, including aluminum, copper, brass, nickel, mixed metals, and radiators. The scrapyard also accepts junk vehicles and a whole slew of various auto parts. Paper and a variety of household appliances are also accepted.
Since 1988, WV Cashin has become a leader for the state’s recycling efforts and continues to be a partner for both buyers and sellers of scrap.
