Marshall University, St. Joseph Catholic Grade School and the United States Marine Corp Reserves will kick off the 2012 Toys for Tots regional campaign at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at St. Joe.
A countdown by the students will officially mark the start of the campaign, which will run through early December. Toys for Tots collects new toys to give to children, ages toddler to early teens, who otherwise would do without during the holidays.
This is the third consecutive year that Marshall has teamed with Toys for Tots, St. Joseph and the Marines.
