As part of National AmeriCorps Week, the West Virginia State Legislature will recognize approximately 100 National Service members for their efforts toward improving their communities.

Why: Each year approximately 1,000 individuals give to our communities and our state through service in AmeriCorps State and National Programs, VISTA, and National Civilian Community Corps. National AmeriCorps Week is March 9 through 17, 2013.
