The South Charleston Chamber of Commerce and the Woman’s Club of South Charleston is hosting a “Meet the Candidates” Event on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Woman’s Club of South Charleston, located at 214 D Street in South Charleston. All candidates running for the House of Delegates for 35th District have been invited to attend.
This event will be free and open to the public. Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will begin at 5:30p.m. During this time the candidates and public will have an opportunity to visit with one another. Each candidate will be given the opportunity to make a brief three minute statement to the voters. Candidates that have confirmed their attendance to date are Thorton Cooper, Bobbie Hatfield, A. Richard McGinnis, Eric Nelson, Marie Sprouse McDavid, Chris Stansbury, and Sherri Wong.
