Aspiring entrepreneurs looking for sources of financing can join the West Virginia District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration during the RCBI Bridgeport Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center Open House for a “Show Me the Money” workshop on Thursday, May 8.
Richard Haney, SBA lender relations specialist, and Tim James of First Microloan of West Virginia, review loan guarantee programs available through the agency. SBA participates in a number of loan programs designed for business owners who may have trouble qualifying for a traditional bank loan.
“In 2013, SBA guaranteed an excess of $39.8 million in loans for West Virginia small businesses,” states SBA WV District Director, Judy McCauley. “I encourage everyone to attend this workshop and learn about the loan-guarantee programs the SBA offers to help small businesses start, grow, and succeed.”
RCBI is located at 2400 E. Benedum Industrial Drive in Bridgeport, WV. The event starts at 1:00 p.m. and “Show Me the Money,” kicks off at 2:00 p.m.
