Thursday, July 3    “RED HAT DAY”

 

9am                Union and Confederate Camp Tours begin (Period interpreters will host

tours through the camps at the top of each hour)

9am – 12pm   Kite Workshop (Make and take kites for children)

10am              Infantry Unit Presentations – Company Drills (School of the Company,

Manual of Arms, Loading & Firing Demonstrations)

10am – 2pm   The Clay Center – Recycling Art for children

11am              Artillery Presentation

(Instruction for field artillery & Firing Demonstrations)

11am              Stonewall Jackson Presentation “A Most Difficult Decision”

(Stonewall Jackson Reenacter Stephen Cassle share the difficult decisions

Thomas Jackson considered concerning the Civil War)

11am              Marteka and William Lake

12pm              Stunt and Large Kite Show demonstrations

1pm                The Civil War Soldier (Uniforms and Accouterments of the Civil War:

Union and Confederate Commanders will explain the various

Uniforms worn and accouterments used during the Civil War)
