The Charleston Area Alliance welcomes Caitlin Cook to its team. Caitlin brings media and regional business knowledge to her new role as Communication Manager. She most recently worked as the Charleston Gazette’s business reporter. Caitlin also worked in the northeast Ohio media market for Crain’s Cleveland Business Magazine and the Akron and Youngstown Legal News operations.

Communication and marketing is critical as we share information on our work to create new jobs in the region and develop a more vibrant urban environment in downtown Charleston,” says Matthew Ballard, President/CEO of the Charleston Area Alliance.
Caitlin is a Charleston native. She earned degrees in journalism and philosophy from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio. Outside of work, she enjoys watching and participating in sports, reading and travel.
