Bailey & Wyant, PLLC welcomes Dan LeMasters and Betsy Stewart to the firm’s Charleston office

The law firm of Bailey & Wyant, PLLC announces the addition of Dan LeMasters and Betsy Stewart as their newest Associates to the Charleston office.

Dan attended West Virginia University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdepartmental Studies. In 2009, Dan graduated with a Masters Degree in Secondary Education and was an active member in the honors society Phi Beta Kappa.

Dan received his Juris Doctorate from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2012. While attending law school, Dan was awarded Order of the Barrister and was the Lugar Cup Champion his third year and first runner up his second year.

As an Associate at Bailey & Wyant, Dan will be focusing his practice in the area of general civil litigation.

Betsy received her undergraduate degree in History in 2008 from West Virginia University and was an active member of Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society. As an undergraduate, Betsy gained experience while studying abroad at the Lingnan University in Hong Kong.

In 2012, she graduated from the Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law. While in law school, Betsy was Vice President and Public Relations Chair of the Association of Women Law Students. Additionally, Betsy participated in Mercer University’s Public Interest Practicum and interned at the Houston County Public Defender’s Office in Perry, Georgia. In the summer of 2010 and 2011, Betsy worked as a law clerk at the Charleston office of Bailey & Wyant.

As an Associate at Bailey & Wyant, Betsy will be practicing in general civil litigation with an emphasis in education, civil rights as well as labor and employment law.
