Fans of great live music and local West Virginia craft beers will once again have the chance to experience both at the 4th annual Brew Skies Festival, this year to be held at Timberline Four Seasons Resort on August 21-22.

Presented by Mountain State Brewing Co. in Thomas, WV, the event will feature a number of regional bands, as well as some nationally known acts, with the official line up now released. This year’s festival coincides, and will conclude, the first ever West Virginia Craft Beer Week; an eight-day celebration of West Virginia’s craft brewers, breweries, pubs and restaurants. West Virginia Craft Beer Week follows suit with American Craft Beer Week (May 11th – 17th) and a growing trend across the nation of designating such events in support of the craft beer industry. As with previous years, Brew Skies welcomes all West Virginia breweries to attend, now boasting 11 in the state, with five more in progress.

This year’s lineup includes 25 live performances featuring nationally known acts such as Paul Barrère & Fred Tackett (guitarists from the legendary Little Feat), Larry Keel Experience, Woody Pines, If Birds Could Fly as well as some local West Virginia favorites from around the state such as Qiet from Charleston, The Soul Miners from Morgantown, and Davis’ own LocalMotive.

Advance tickets are on sale now for $55.00 for a weekend pass or $35.00 for a day pass, or $60.00 and $40.00 at the gate. A variety of lodging options are available through the Tucker County Convention & Visitors Bureau at www.canaanvalley.org.
