Following the tragedy, the county united and began to rebuild its community, which caused a resurgence that has been growing exponentially since. Greenbrier County is rich in spirit and grit, and its citizens have worked tirelessly to build back all that was lost and more.

A group of entrepreneurial friends is at the center of the revitalization taking place in Greenbrier County. When Clay Elkins, J.W. Groseclose and David Bostic came up with an idea for a new brewery, they decided from the start that they always wanted it to be more than just a place that crafted and served beer. They wanted it to be a place that brought people together.

Growth at the Gorge
What has long been recognized by West Virginians as a southeastern gem has officially received the designation it deserves. Effective December 27, 2020, the New River Gorge became the U.S.’s 63rd national park. The new status for this stunning destination has significant implications for the Mountain State.
