College Goal Sunday to Offer Free Assistance Applying for Financial Aid

Sunday, February 15, 2015 is College Goal Sunday. Financial aid experts will provide students and families with free assistance completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and other financial aid forms.  Anyone planning to pursue some form of education and training beyond high school within the next year should complete the FAFSA. College Goal Sunday workshops are open to students of any age or income-level.

The workshop will take place from 1-4 p.m. at 24 locations across West Virginia:

  • Herbert Hoover High School, Clendenin
  • Marshall University, Huntington
  • Marshall University Mid-Ohio Valley Center, Point Pleasant
  • Mingo Central High School, Delbarton
  • Mountwest Community and Technical College, Huntington
  • New River Community and Technical College, Lewisburg
  • Potomac State College of WVU, Keyser
  • Putnam County Career and Technical College, Eleanor
