Direct Online Marketing (DOM) today announced it has secured Google to educate West Virginia organizations about the importance of search engine marketing at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 19th at the Waterfront Place Hotel in Morgantown, W. Va. The event is free to West Virginia organizations with advance registration. Businesses and nonprofits may register here or by calling (304) 214-4850.

“With the explosion of the consumer and social web over the last few years, search engine marketing has become one of the most profitable marketing tools businesses can deploy to reach potential clients,” said Justin Seibert, president, Direct Online Marketing. “We want to share what we’ve learned in working with Google the past nine years with West Virginia organizations to help them increase their online competitiveness.”

DOM is a Wheeling-based digital marketing firm focused on search marketing and works with clients such as:

  • Wheeling Truck Center, a fourth generation family business who has used DOM’s search engine marketing services to export to 98 different countries around the world.
  • Panhandle Cleaning & Restoration, West Virginia’s largest disaster recovery firm and the Official Restoration Company of the Mountaineers®. DOM handles Panhandle’s pay per click (PPC) advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), and display advertising efforts.
  • Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD), a top private university for the arts with campuses in the United States and Hong Kong. SCAD hired DOM to reimagine their online marketing strategy and utilizes it for PPC and display advertising management, SEO strategy, and social media advertising guidance.

“DOM is one of the very few select agencies that we work with in the ‘new Google.’ Their clients truly are in good hands, which is why I’m so excited to partner with them for this special event.” according to Michael Hose, agency development manager in Google’s Managed Agency Program at Google, who will be speaking at the event. This Program is designed for only the top 200 agency partners out of thousands worldwide.

This event marks the first time Google has sent an executive from their Mountain View, Calif. headquarters to speak to West Virginia organizations.
