Executive Ink Celebrates Growth with New Partners and Hires

Executive Ink, LLCthe publishing company for West Virginia Executive, Discover West Virginia and Profiles magazines and the West Virginia Medical Journal, is excited to announce Connie Conrad and Melanie Watkins as minority partners. Conrad and Watkins join managing partner Kensie Hamilton Fauber in leading the company.

Conrad is a marketing and advertising associate for Executive Ink. A native of Capon Bridge, she holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from West Virginia University. Conrad resides in Fairmont with her husband, twin sons and niece.

Watkins, a native of Shrewsbury, is the graphic designer for Executive Ink’s publications. She holds a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Marietta College and resides in Nitro with her husband and stepson.

Executive Ink has also welcomed two new employees in the last few months: Emily Rice as managing editor and Paige Kocourek as production manager.

Rice is a native of Teays Valley and holds a bachelor’s degree in online journalism and a minor in photography. She previously worked as the features editor of the Bluefield Daily Telegraph and associate editor of Prerogative Magazine and has served as the photographer and education reporter for The Journal and Durango Herald newspapers.

Kocourek, a Wisconsin native and recent transplant to West Virginia, holds a bachelor’s degree in business communications from the University of St. Thomas. She is currently pursuing a health coaching certification to play a crucial role in the health and happiness of those around her. She currently resides in Charleston with her fiancé.

“During my 16-year tenure with the magazine, I have seen a lot of staff changes. I am thrilled with the direction of the organization and the team we have assembled,” says Fauber. “Our passion for West Virginia is the driving force behind the success of each magazine we publish, and that passion has only grown with each new team member we’ve added.”

West Virginia Executive, the state’s premier business publication, was founded in 1998. The quarterly publication strives to provide quality, in-depth business news coverage and highlight growth and development within the Mountain State.
