Amy L. Rothman practices in the firm’s Charleston office and concentrates her practice in civil litigation in the areas of medical professional liability and general litigation. Over the course of her career, she has tried a number of cases to verdict.  She also assists medical professionals with licensing issues and problems before various medical boards. Rothman obtained her B.A. in Microbiology from Miami University before she went on to earn her law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law.  After clerking with the firm for two summers, Rothman joined the firm as an Associate in 2006. She was recently recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star.  She also serves as the firm’s Recruiting Committee Chair.
Danielle Waltz Swann practices in the firm’s Charleston office and concentrates her practice in general and construction litigation. In addition, Swann has expanded her practice to include government relations, where she is registered to lobby on behalf of many state and national corporations.  Swann holds leadership positions in several professional and community organizations. Most recently, Swann was elected National Conference Chair of the 2014 Defense Research Institute’s Construction Law Conference; Secretary/Treasurer of the WVU Young Alumni Board; Special Events Chair of the West Virginia Bar Association and serves as a Vice-Chair of the Special Olympics Board of Directors. Swann has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star since 2009 and is a member of the 2011 Class of the West Virginia State Journal’s Generation Next, Top 40 Under 40. Swann received her B.A. in Mathematics, with a minor in Political Science, from West Virginia University where she was a Foundation Scholar, given to the top five students in West Virginia. Swann joined Flaherty Sensabaugh Bonasso in the fall of 2006 after receiving her law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law.
Elizabeth L. Taylor practices in the firm’s Charleston office and concentrates her practice in civil litigation, with an emphasis on product liability, commercial and general litigation, and mass litigation.  Taylor regularly represents clients before state and federal courts in all phases of litigation.  Taylor received her B.A. in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Taylor joined Flaherty Sensabaugh Bonasso in the fall of 2006 after receiving her law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law. Taylor currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Appalachian Reading Center, as the Assistant Treasurer of the Kanawha County Bar Association, and on the Scholarship Committee for The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation. Taylor also is an active member of the Junior League of Charleston, where she served on the Board of Directors for two years. Taylor was recognized in 2013 by Super Lawyers as a West Virginia Rising Star.
