Gastroenterologist Joins Berkeley Medical Center Staff

Shahin Rahimian, DO, board certified gastroenterologist, recently announced the opening of Panhandle Gastroenterology, PLLC, on the University Healthcare Berkeley Medical Center campus.

Dr. Rahimian, who practiced in Berkeley County from 2005 until 2011, has returned to Martinsburg to practice and join the medical staff at Berkeley Medical Center.  Panhandle Gastroenterology is located in Suite 3500 in the McCormack Center.

A West Virginia native, Dr. Rahimian is a graduate of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his osteopathic internship at St. Francis Medical Center in Pittsburgh. He completed his internal medical residency at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Midwestern University in Illinois.

“I am pleased to be back in the Eastern Panhandle and affiliated once again with Berkeley Medical Center and University Healthcare,” Dr. Rahimian commented, adding that he is looking forward to seeing many familiar faces in the hospital and hopefully in his practice.
