Gov.Tomblin to Deliver State of the State Address, Budget Briefing for Media

West Virginia Revenue Secretary and State Budget Director Charles O. Lorensen, Deputy Revenue Secretary Mark Muchow, Director of the State Budget Office Mike McKown and members of Gov. Tomblin’s Senior Staff will conduct a briefing, for members of the media only, in the Governor’s Cabinet and Conference Room, adjacent to the Secretary of State’s office, to discuss the budget bill to be submitted by the governor.

EVENT: Media Briefing on the budget bill to be submitted by the governor.

TIME: 4:45 p.m.

LOCATION: Governor’s Cabinet and Conference Room, State Capitol

  • Embargoed media packets, including budget information and Gov. Tomblin’s address, will be distributed during the briefing and are embargoed until 7:05 p.m.

Beginning at 7 p.m. Feb. 13, 2013, Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin will deliver the State of the State Address. The speech is expected to last approximately 50 minutes. It will be broadcast on West Virginia Public Television and West Virginia Public Radio among other media outlets in the state.
