Governor Tomblin Appoints Individuals to University Board of Governors

Governor Earl Ray Tomblin today appointed ten individuals to serve on the board of governors for Marshall University and West Virginia University. The appointments are effective immediately.”I’m pleased these men and women have accepted this opportunity to serve on the board of governors,” says Tomblin. “Together, their knowledge, skills and expertise will help guide these universities and help ensure a brighter future for our young people.”

Gov. Tomblin appointed the following individuals to the Marshall University board of governors:

  • James Bailes, Huntington, W.Va.
  • Phil Cline, Huntington, W.Va.
  • Tim Dagostine, Charleston, W.Va.
  • Ed Howard III, Scottsdale, Arizona
  • Dale Lowther, Parkersburg, W.Va.
  • Christie Kinsey, Lavalette, W.Va.
  • Dr. Joseph Touma, Huntington, W.Va.

Gov. Tomblin appointed the following individuals to the West Virginia University board of governors:

  • Rob Alsop, Charleston, W.Va.
  • Diane Lewis, Morgantown, W.Va.
  • William Wilmoth, Wheeling, W.Va.
