Heritage Farm will host its Annual Fall Festival Celebration on October 2nd. The Farm will be open from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The  Fall Festival is a tradition at Heritage Farm. Everyone is invited to come and celebrate the favorite season of many with some Family Farm Fun, good eats, awesome animals, thrilling adventure and amazing artisans. Guests can also enjoy live artisan demos, visit Smithsonian Affiliate Museums, check out the new Treehouse Trek, Nature Center, take a wagon ride, hang out with farm animals and more.

“There is something extra special about Autumn in Appalachia”, says Executive Director Audy Perry. “The beauty of the changing forest, the vibrant smells of harvest, and the joy of its people as they celebrate all they have been given.  Even in difficult times, there is much to be thankful for here in these beautiful mountains, among these strong people.”

Special events for Fall Festival include: Live Music and Dance. Pumpkin Animal Feeding,  Fresh Bread Oven, Apple Butter Making, Cast Iron Cooking, Candle Dipping, Glass Blowing, and Children’s Science Experiments.

Heritage Farm introduced several new adventure products in 2021. The highlight is the addition of Talithakoum. Built on the mountain overlooking the village, this amazing aerial challenge course is over four stories tall. The Redtail Racer dual zip-lines is also a favorite of guests in 2021. In the heart of the village, a family friendly TreeRock Challenge aerial course and Treehouse Trek are new adventures for families to experience together.

Heritage Farm is open Fridays and Saturdays (10 am – 3 pm) in September and October. Visit www.heritagefarmmuseum.com for information, ticket sales and other special events.
