Help develop a new comprehensive plan for the City of Charleston by attending the second of three open houses with the “Imagine Charleston” team.

Join the team this Tuesday, Sept. 18 from 4:00-6:30 p.m., at the Culture Center on the State Capitol grounds. At that time, members of the public will have an opportunity to react to the goals and vision endorsed by the Advisory Committee and to review development concepts conceived during the reconnaissance phase of “Imagine Charleston.”

“Imagine Charleston” is designed to maximize citizen input about the future of Charleston in terms of buildings, potential projects, the nature of neighborhoods, transportation, attractions and more.

Consultants will make a brief presentation about the project and the purpose of the open house. This presentation will be done twice during the course of the open house. Six stations will be set up providing information on different components of the comprehensive plan.

Comment cards will be available for your feedback and you’ll be asked to vote on what you consider to be priorities for inclusion in the plan. Please stop by, whether for 10 minutes or two hours. Your reaction to the progress that’s been made is imperative for the success of the “Imagine Charleston” effort.
