International Energy Expert Tracy B. McKibben Appointed to WVSU Board of Governors

West Virginia State University (WVSU) alumna and international energy and environmental technology expert Tracy B. McKibben has been appointed to serve on the university’s board of governors.

McKibben is the founder and chief executive officer of MAC Energy Advisors LLC, an investment and consulting company that provides integrated energy solutions to help clients with investments and strategic opportunities across a global platform.

She earned a bachelor’s degree from WVSU and a law degree from Harvard Law School, and she resides in New York City.

McKibben also serves on the board of directors for numerous companies and organizations, including Ecolab Inc., Huntington Ingalls Industries Inc., ECP Environmental Growth Opportunities Corp., United Services Automobile Association, New York Power Authority and the National Kidney Foundation.

McKibben has partnered with multinational corporations and financial institutions on investments and capital structuring in the alternative energy, renewable energy, green technology, water management and energy efficiency sector

McKibben has also worked at the White House as senior director of European Affairs and director of European Economic Affairs and EU Relations at the National Security Council.

Charleston attorney and WVSU alum Mark Kelley has been reappointed to serve on the Board of Governors. Kelley is a member of the law firm of Ray, Winton and Kelley, PLLC.

Charleston CPA and WVSU alum Jamie Payne has also been reappointed to serve on the Board of Governors. Payne is a senior manager with the firm of Baker Tilly US.
