IOGAWV Summer Meeting to Feature Impressive Slate of Speakers

The Independent Oil and Gas Association of West Virginia (IOGAWV) Summer Meeting – scheduled for Aug. 4-6 at The Greenbrier Resort – will feature more than 15 prominent speakers covering a wide variety of critical topics, including the energy industry’s future, its economic impact and legislative trends.

The agenda includes Steven Winberg, assistant secretary for fossil energy at the Department of Energy. Winberg plans to talk about the Appalachian Petrochemical Industry, as well as U.S. dominance in the global marketplace. 

“The IOGAWV Summer Meeting is not only a wonderful opportunity for our members to network and build relationships, it’s a valuable source for industry insights,” said Kevin Ellis, IOGAWV Board of Directors Vice President. “Each year, the conversation is robust and fruitful. Speakers and presenters also include Congressman David McKinley, West Virginia State Senate President Mitch Carmichael, West Virginia House of Delegates Speaker Roger Hanshaw, EQT CEO Toby Rice, MarkWest Energy Vice President Jim Crews, Greylock Energy CEO Kyle Mork, CNX Executive Vice President Tim Dugan and John Deskins, director of West Virginia University’s Bureau of Business & Economic Research.
