JMH Announces Employee Award Winners

West Virginia University Hospitals-East’s Jefferson Memorial Hospital recently announced its employee Jewel Award winners for June 2012. Award categories Ruby and Diamond and each award has specific criteria for selection.

The “Ruby” Award represents richness and warmth in the delivery of care and this individual demonstrates a willingness to assist patients, staff and others with knowledge and experience. This person is open to new ideas and ways of providing exceptional service. The Ruby Award was presented to Kristy Brown, a registered nurse in the Special Care Unit.

The “Diamond” Award represents the ability to withstand great pressure and temperature. This individual displays many brilliant qualities and is appreciated for his/her fine characteristics. The Diamond Award was presented to Jessica Condon, performance improvement coordinator.
