KeyLogic Systems Names Former FBI Executive Reid as Vice President of National Security and CIO

KeyLogic Systems, Inc., a leading professional services and engineering firm, has named J. Kevin Reid as its new Vice President of National Security and Chief Information Officer (CIO). In his new role, Reid will lead KeyLogic’s National Security practice delivering innovative services and solutions that drive strategic information technology (IT) performance improvements to support the clients’ needs.

Reid joins KeyLogic from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where he was most recently the Assistant Director of the IT Infrastructure Division. In his tenure at the FBI, he also held several Senior Executive positions including Assistant Director of the IT Applications and Data Division. He has over 30 years of experience in IT, engineering, financial and program management.  Reid’s experience includes an extensive record of successfully leading major business and IT programs and operations. He is a recognized industry leader in the Intel Community with extensive experience in solutions involving cutting edge biometrics, cloud, and cyber capabilities.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from West Virginia University, a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Marymount University, as well as a master’s degree in software engineering from Central Michigan University. He has been recongized for his service, including the FBI’s Assistant Director’s awards for Overall Excellence, Excellence in Management and Leadership, as well as industry awards from Government Computer News and Computer World.
