Join us at the Huntington Mall on Sunday, July 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Healthy Kids Play Zone near Cinemark and Elder-Beerman in the Mall. This event is geared toward children.
Try it out!
Kids ADAÂ instructors will be storytelling and children will be invited to color. There will be several assistive technologies that people with disabilities use, including a wheelchair, for children to try out.
Kids will enjoy coloring and story time as they learn about people with disabilities, how to act around a guide dog, using assistive technology and more. There will also be a cookie cake!
Special Guests
There will be two special guests. One is – the Princess Coral Rose! The Coral Rose will stop by and read stories to all the children.
We will also have Heather with her guide dog. Heather will answer questions any of the children may have about guide dogs and will also be demonstrating basket weaving. Heather will have some of her beautiful baskets with her for sale.
Win Prizes!
Every child who participates will win a prize. There will be goody bags filled with fun things including two special stickers and every child who participates will be given a ticket for a free ride on the Mall train.
