Learn to quilt at New River CTC

New River Community and Technical College is offering a four-day beginning quilting class starting on Tuesday, Sept. 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Greenbrier Valley Campus, Lewisburg. The other three classes will be taught October 1, 8 and 15, 2019.

Students will learn the process of making a handmade quilt, and anyone wanting to learn how to quilt should attend the class. Pre-registration is recommended by Sept. 10. Tuition for the class is $80 plus the cost of a quilt kit ($20).

New River CTC’s Workforce Education Division provides community education classes and employable educational opportunities including noncredit courses, workforce development programs and customized training.
