Lewis Glasser Casey & Rollins PLLC would like to congratulate its managing member, Nick Casey, on becoming Treasurer-Elect of the American Bar Association.  Casey was elected to this post and began serving during the ABA’s Annual Meeting last week.

As Treasurer-Elect Casey will serve the national association as a member or a liaison to various internal entities including the executive committee, audit committee, retirement program and endowment. Casey will assume the full role as Treasurer beginning in August 2014.

Founded in 1878, the American Bar Association is one of the world’s largest voluntary professional organizations, with nearly 400,000 members and more than 3,500 internal or related entities. It is committed to serving its members, improving the legal profession, eliminating bias and enhancing diversity, and advancing the rule of law throughout the United States and around the world.  The ABA also supports the legal profession with practical resources for legal professionals and works to improve the administration of justice, accredit law schools, establish model ethical codes, and more.

“We congratulate Nick on being elevated to this distinguished national position, and we know he will serve with integrity, leadership and accountability,” said Martin Glasser on behalf of the law firm.  “Nick’s involvement with the ABA’s leadership will ensure that the views of West Virginia’s legal community will be considered on important policy matters that come before the ABA.”
