I know we are all sad that summer is coming to an end, but that means we are just one month closer to Main Street Fairmont’s 2018 NightGLOW 5k!
This year’s NightGLOW 5k will take place on October 27th, 2018. The race will begin at 7:30pm.
NightGLOW started as part of the unveiling celebration for the Gateway Connector. It will continue as an opportunity to raise awareness about the downtown historic city center, promote foot traffic and exposure to the district, and raise funds for continued revitalization efforts. In addition to putting downtown Fairmont on everyone’s radar for the months leading up to the event, it promotes community health and wellness.
This event was held last year and we believe it will be just as successful this year. We had over 300 participants many of which were visitors from outside our state. We offer a unique experience. A professionally timed 5K race with the fun of running while glowing in the dark. It really is the best of both worlds!.
