Mon Health Medical Center partnering with local Rotaries to offer fall health screenings

Mon Health Medical Center is offering several Multiphasic Bloods Analysis screenings in September and October in conjunction with the Morgantown North, Cheat Lake and Westover Rotary clubs.

Multipashic screenings will be 7-10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 and Oct. 18-19. Screening locations include:

  • Sept. 21: Clear Mountain Bank in Sabraton, Clear Mountain Bank at the Glenmark Center and Mon Health Primary Care in Core. Walk-ins are welcome at Mon Health Medical Center’s Hazel Ruby McQuain Conference Center only.
  • Oct. 18: City Neon on Champlin Road across from Mylan Park.
  • Oct. 19: Clear Mountain Bank in Sabraton, Clear Mountain Bank in Bruceton Mills and Dynamic Physical Therapy in Westover. Walk-ins are welcome at Mon Health Medical Center’s Hazel Ruby McQuain Conference Center only.

Pre-registration is required for all sites other than the walk-in locations. Registration forms and payment must be received by Sept. 6 or Oct. 4 depending on the date of choice.

The multiphasic is a blood test that measures a variety of blood components including cholesterol. Participants should fast for 12 hours prior to the test.

The cost of the multiphasic is $35. A Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) blood test, a Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) screening and Glucose A1-C tests are available for an additional $15 each. A Vitamin D test can be added for $20.
