Morgantown Social NetworX (MSNX) will hold its next happy hour gathering at The Bank in Morgantown on Thursday, October 15.

The Bank has been open since August 2014 and serves American cuisine. It now features gourmet melts and mac and cheese. The Bank also features an extensive bourbon selection and has several handcrafted specialty cocktails.

“We have always enjoyed the MSNX events because they give attendees an opportunity to experience local businesses they may not often frequent,” says Jason Messenger, co-owner of The Bank. “I especially enjoy hosting them because it brings a new crowd to downtown Morgantown.”

The Bank has a laid back, lounge-type atmosphere offering good food, good drinks and great people.

“I find the MSNX gathering to be a very casual setting where I can bring friends or come by myself so I can network with others,” says Chris Phillips, an employee of New York Life Insurance Company. “Mary Lynn Ulch and Teddy Edwards, the organizers, do a great job of introducing me to people so I can make connections for my small business.”

The Bank is able to accommodate nearly any type of private event for up to 150 people. In October, there will be several events ranging from West Virginia University student organization formals to local political campaign fundraisers. Parking is accessible via garages located one block away at either end of Wall Street. Happy hour specials include $2.50 domestic bottles, $1 off specialty cocktails and $5 select appetizers.
