Just in time to celebrate the company’s 26th anniversary on Groundhog Day, Adam Sypolt and Monique Sypolt have joined the creative and production departments of MotionMasters, a multimedia communications firm with headquarters in Charleston, W.Va.
“We’re excited to welcome this talented team to the staff,” said Diana Sole Walko, MotionMasters’ CEO. “Their unique skills will complement those of our existing videographers, writers and producers in creating commercials, web videos, animated graphics and many other communication tools,” she said.
Adam, videographer and editor, earned his B.A. in cinema and television from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Va., as did his wife, Monique, who also carried a minor in digital animation. Adam honed his skills in his home state of West Virginia with Bayer Crop Science where he produced safety, training and informational video productions. While in the Tidewater area, he served as media director for a large faith-based organization and also as an editor for a film production company. Monique, an assistant producer, apprenticed with the legendary Jerry Weintraub of Warner Bros. Studios in Los Angeles. Working with writers on various projects and reading a variety of screenplays, she was expected to hold her own in pitch meetings with studio executives—and she did. She’s served as a graphics animator, producer and director on many shorts, commercials, training films and infomercials. She is also on-camera talent.
MotionMasters, founded on Groundhog Day in 1987, celebrates its anniversary every year with a special tribute to “Mo,” the MotionMasters mascot. No matter what the weather, the firm’s employees look forward to an early spring—shadow or no shadow. This year’s anniversary features custom-made cookies in the shape of the firm’s mascot.
“It’s great to add such notable talent to serve our many clients and friends we’ve amassed over 26 years,” said Walko. “And it’s especially nice to be able to bring West Virginians home again!”
