Phillip B. Aguila, MD, FCCP and Feroz F. Noori, MD received the Outstanding Clinical Faculty of the Year Award for the WVU School of Medicine Eastern Division for academic year 2012. Doctors Aguila and Noori were chose for their outstanding commitment to teaching. This award is voted on by Eastern Division medical students and reflects the students’ appreciation for and recognition of these physicians’ skill, knowledge and their combined ability to impart their medical knowledge to future medical professionals.

Drs. Aguila and Noori are board certified pulmonologists practicing at WVUH-East Pulmonology in Martinsburg and are active members of the medical staff at City Hospital.

Aguila is a graduate of the WVU School of Medicine. He completed residency at Allegheny General Hospital and a pulmonology fellowship at the University of North Carolina. Noori attended St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed both his residency and fellowship at Saint Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, NJ.

Both physicians have WVU School of Medicine clinical volunteer faculty appointments as Clinical Assistant Professors. They joined WVUH-East Pulmonology in 2010.
