MedMatrix Solutions, a medical practice management firm headquartered in Beckley, announced the appointment of Pat Schuman as Credentialing Specialist.
“Pat’s extensive experience will be a tremendous asset to MedMatrix Solutions clients,” said Patty Bowling, director. Prior to joining MedMatrix Solutions, Schuman was responsible for independently performing the credentialing and re-credentialing of approximately 180 medical staff and allied health professionals in a large health care system. She is a member of the National Association of Medical Staff Services and West Virginia Association of Medical Staff Services and is a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist.
Schuman joins a team of credentialing specialists at MedMatrix Solutions that achieved a 100 percent accuracy rating through a comprehensive monthly process of tracking expiration and renewals of certifications. Credentialing specialists, in addition to other professionals at MedMatrix Solutions, allow health care providers to focus their attention on patients rather than administrative details.
