Eastern Panhandle Anesthesia Associates recently announced the addition of Christopher M. Spiess, M.D., anesthesiologist, to their City Hospital based practice and West Virginia University Hospitals-East.
Spiess recently completed a residency in anesthesiology at the University of Louisville Hospitals in Kentucky. He holds a doctor of medicine degree from the WVU School of Medicine in Morgantown, where he graduated with honors in medical ethics.
Having completed his third and fourth years of medical school here in the Eastern Panhandle through the WVU School of Medicine’s Eastern Division, Spiess is now returning to the area with his wife and daughter to practice in Martinsburg.
Eastern Panhandle Anesthesia Associates provides complete anesthesia services to surgical patients at City Hospital. The group includes Jack Shamblin, M.D., Satish Menon, D.O., Sally McLellan, M.D. and Frederic D’Alauro, M.D.
