The focus is on instruction and includes guitar electronics and sound, chords, flatpicking and licks. Combined sessions with all attendees and instructors include jam etiquette, stories, questions and answers and discussion. Individual instruction is also a key element during the weekend.

Robin Kessinger is one of the country’s leading flatpick guitarists. Kessinger has been featured on Public Broadcasting Service and BBC television, is a National Flatpicking Champion and has won multiple-state flatpicking contests several times. “There are few places a person will find three more qualified musicians and teachers than at Guitar Weekend at Twin Falls,” said Scott Durham, park superintendent. “If you’re just learning guitar or have been playing for years, this weekend is a must.”
