Rene S. Rodriguez-Sains, MD, FACS, an ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgeon, ophthalmologist and ophthalmic oncologist, has joins the Medical and Dental Staff at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He specializes in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery involving the eye and surrounding tissue.
While in private practice for more than 30 years in New York City, he has authored numerous publications and has given more than 150 national and international lectures.
Dr. Rodriguez-Sains received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and completed his training at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, where he was a Heed Ophthalmic Foundation Fellow in ophthalmic oncology and ophthalmic plastic surgery.
