SBA Participates in Teaming to Win Conference

Join the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) for the 2015 Small Business Week Awards Ceremony and training opportunities during the 25th annual Teaming to Win conference in Davis, at the Canaan Valley State Park & Conference Center, May 27-29.

The event kicks off with the Small Business Awards Luncheon, emceed by Secretary of State Natalie Tennant, May 27 at 11:30. SBA’s West Virginia District Director, Karen Friel invites everyone to join her in recognizing the 2015 Award Winners.  SBA Mid-Atlantic Regional Administrator Natalia Olson-Urtecho joins Friel to celebrate the occasion. SBA participates in two workshops held during the conference. Thursday, May 28 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., SBA’s Business Development Specialist, Melissa Loder is a panelist on Regulations and Impact on Your Business. Panelists address different aspects of regulations and the regulatory process – including how to ensure your business is operating within them and how to use them to your best advantage.  Thursday, May 28 from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Loder moderates a panel discussion regarding Small Business Director (OSDBU) Panel. Government contracting representatives discuss: procurement opportunities, ways to do business with their agencies, upcoming procurement opportunities, and time for Q&A.
