In each spring issue, West Virginia Executive (WVE) magazine recognizes 10 individuals who have demonstrated excellence in both their careers and commitment to public service.
To be considered for the Sharp Shooters awards program, individuals must be 44 years of age or older, have been a resident of West Virginia for at least five years, held their current position for a minimum of five years and actively participate in community service and philanthropic efforts while making significant impacts in their career field.
WVE is proud to present this year’s class: Ben Beakes, owner, founder and managing member of 3PS, LLC; Barry Burgess, member at Suttle & Stalnaker PLLC; Brandon Downey, co-founder and CEO of Trilogy Innovations, Inc.; Amy Haberbosch Wilson, executive director of Harrison Economic Development Corporation; Torie Jackson, president of West Virginia University at Parkersburg; Mark Manchin, president of Glenville State University; Teresa Dolan Michaels, financial strategist and regional manager for McKinley Carter Wealth Services; Amy Tawney, partner at Bowles Rice LLP; Wally Thornhill, president and dealer principal of Thornhill Automotive Group; and Marvin Woodie Jr, president of Conn-Weld Industries, LLC.
