Spilman Corporate & Real Estate Groups Top-Ranked in Chambers USA

The law firm Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC (Spilman) recently announced that its corporate and real estate practice groups received the highest distinction in the 2013 Chambers USA annual directory of leading law firms and attorneys. Both groups were ranked in Chambers’ Band 1 within a six-band classification system.

The Chambers research team cites one interviewee as stating Spilman corporate attorneys “add value to transactions” and the team is “strong, solid and experienced” in major commercial transactions. Spilman attorneys John F. Allevato, Michael J. Basile, Amy King Condaras, Brian C. Helmick and Lee O. Hill are named as leading individuals in various divisions of the West Virginia corporate/ commercial law arena.

Chambers USA, the country’s leading guide to legal services, annually researches the strength and reputation of law firms and individual lawyers. The research process includes interviewing attorneys and their clients. Considerable credence is given to the opinions of clients.
