In the month of February, Stick Tattoo Co. will be launching its first annual Tats for Tots campaign, created to raise money for the WVU Children’s Hospital at Ruby Memorial.

Every Tuesday of the month, proceeds from tattoos, piercing and retail sales will be donated to help benefit both the children and the hospital. All funds raised will be presented at the end of the month to help with the hospital’s ongoing efforts. The Tats for Tots campaign coincides with WVU Children’s Hospital Annual Gala, for which Stick Tattoo owner, Damian Ferek, is the co-chair and corporate sponsor.

“We want to continue our efforts to be involved in the community,” said Ferek.  “Our goal with Tats for Tots is to continue our partnership with WVU Children’s Hospital and do what we can to fundraise and increase the awareness and support of the hospital.”

The team at Stick Tattoo looks forward to taking part in the fundraiser.

“We always enjoy when we are able to benefit the community by doing what we love,” said Stick Tattoo artist, Brandon Volek. “We look forward to the campaign and can’t wait to see how many people sign up to help.”

WVU Children’s Hospital provides specially maternal, infant and pediatric care to high-risk mothers, premature infants and children with life-threatening conditions in West Virginia and surrounding areas. To learn more about the organization, visit www.wvukids.com.
