TMC Technologies of West Virginia, Corp. has completed the acquisition of createTank, LLC’s Federal Division, which supports several key systems at the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division located in Clarksburg, WV.
The acquisition enables TMC to enhance its ability to provide management and technical services to CJIS through both prime and subcontracts. TMC’s presence at CJIS now includes sixteen personnel supporting four separate programs.
“We welcome the employees and customers of createTank to TMC,” said TMC President and Chief Executive Officer L. Wade Linger. “This acquisition significantly enhances our CJIS presence, giving us a larger footprint in an important market here in North Central West Virginia.”
createTank’s employees will join TMC’s IT Engineering & Operations Division led by Matt Shorb, Vice President, and Laird Wright, TMC’s Project Manager for CJIS personnel. With the stronger capabilities and presence at CJIS, TMC is well-positioned to compete for future contracts across the CJIS Division and at other FBI sites.
TMC funded the acquisition without the need for additional outside capitol. The terms of the acquisition are confidential.
