The 41st annual West Virginia Construction and Design Exposition (EXPO) will take place March 25 – 26 at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center. Join us in celebrating 41 years of connecting West Virginia’s construction and design industries. With nearly 5,000 regional decision-makers expected and nearly 300 exhibitors, EXPO is an invaluable networking opportunity. EXPO invites all professionals who work directly, or indirectly, with the construction industry to attend.

EXPO features the most comprehensive education program and largest marketplace for construction and design industries throughout the region. Offering dozens of professional development opportunities – with nearly 80 free seminars led by some of the most trusted names in the industry – EXPO has something for every interest and discipline.

This event is the perfect place for construction professionals to come together. The state’s improving construction industry has come from several sectors of the state’s economy including the major initiatives to fix West Virginia’s roads and bridges, a multimillion dollar bond package for improvements at the state’s park and recreational facilities, increased funding for water and sewer construction loan programs, and more! These accomplishments have created many opportunities for the state’s workforce to get to work and build a better West Virginia.

This year, EXPO is partnering with the West Virginia Department of Education to host a Reverse Job Fair on Wednesday, March 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Upper Lobby. The Reverse Job Fair is a spin on the traditional job fair where CTE Simulated Workplace students will setup industry specific program booths to showcase their technical skills, portfolios, and talents to employers who are looking to hire skilled workers. Exhibitors and attendees will have the opportunity to engage with CTE students and learn more about the high-quality technical education programs and training students receive. This year’s event will also feature the most widely heard radio personality in West Virginia, Hoppy Kercheval, with a live broadcast of MetroNews Talkline.

The show is open 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26. A complete list of seminars, many offering free continuing education credits, and other show information is available on the EXPO website. Registration is free at the show or online atwww.wvexpo.com.
