West Virginia educators to collaborate to improve educational outcomes during annual Student Success Summit

When:

Wednesday, July 25 at 8:30 AM to Thursday, July 26 at 1:15 PM

What:

The Student Success Summit is a statewide conference focused on creating seamless, supportive and lifelong learning systems for West Virginia’s students. More than 50 professional development sessions led by education professionals will take place during the eighth annual Summit. Staff from the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission (Commission) will also unveil a new attainment goal campaign titled “West Virginia’s Climb,” which will strive to equip 60 percent of West Virginians with a certificate or a degree by 2030.

Who:

The Student Success Summit is expected to host more than 440 educators from all across the education continuum. The event is sponsored by the Commission and the West Virginia Department of Education with support from the West Virginia Community and Technical College System and the state’s military service units.
