Agile5 Technologies, a leading tech company headquartered in the I-79 High Tech Park, has been named the winner of the National Small Business Week Award for the state of West Virginia, a distinguished recognition bestowed by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

Agile5 president and CEO, Lisa L. Fritsch, expressed her deep appreciation for the firm’s recognition.

“This prestigious accolade not only validates our commitment to proactively engaging with our customers but also acknowledges the unwavering dedication of our exceptional staff at Agile5 in executing and delivering robust technical solutions,” Fritsch says.

Award ceremonies will take place April 28-29 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Washington, D.C., where Agile5 and winners from other U.S. states and territories will be celebrated for their outstanding contributions.

Fritsch attributed the success to the shared vision and collaborative spirit of Agile5’s co-founders, Peter Fritsch, Adam Leach and Chet Tobrey.

“Their unwavering support and collective determination have been a driving force behind our success,” she says.

This isn’t Agile5’s first SBA honor—in 2016, Fritsch and Agile5 were named West Virginia Woman-Owned Small Business of the Year.

SBA Administrator Isabel Casillas Guzman congratulated the National Small Business Week Award winners, emphasizing their excellence, innovation and commitment to communities and the economy.

Guzman highlighted the dynamism and innovation of American entrepreneurs, noting that 16 million new business applications have been filed since the Biden Administration took office. She pledged the SBA’s continued support for small businesses, recognizing their vital role in driving economic prosperity across the nation.

Agile5 Technologies, Inc., established in 2011, specializes in cloud migration, DevSecOps CI/CD, cybersecurity, systems and software development and automated testing of enterprise information technology software systems.

The company has successfully delivered on more than 40 federal, defense and commercial contracts, providing clients with subject matter expertise and IT services on time and on budget.
