Tsubasacon, West Virginia’s first and premiere Anime, Manga and Gaming convention, now in its tenth year serving the Tri-State, will be returning to the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington, WV. This year’s convention will be held the weekend of October 11 – 13, 2013.

Last year Tsubasacon gained a record attendance, with a 30% increase in total registrations, entertaining 1,320 guests from over 21 states. This year we will continue to focus on targeted marketing and social-media campaigns, collaboration with local businesses, including regional government agencies, to maintain growth and continue providing a yearly economic benefit to the City of Huntington and the Tri-State area.

For the tenth anniversary celebration, Tsubasacon promises to provide local and regional anime fans with some of the best guests, events and programming in its history.

Special guests this year include Micah Solusod, professional voice actor and artist, and voice actresses Danielle McRae and Laura Post. Featured musical guest will be 2D6, famous for their mystical powers of hilarious “rhyming and rap”.

In addition, Tsubasacon continues to support and promote local charitable organizations. Giving back to the community remains one of the convention’s primary goals.

Tsubasacon proudly continues to promote anime, manga, gaming, and Japanese culture in the Tri-State area (West Virginia, Northeast Kentucky and Southern Ohio) and to establish a social framework through which anime and manga fans can interact with each other.
