The West Virginia Capital Access Program (WVCAP) has approved an investment of $400,000 for Greenbrier Technical Services (GTS), 407 East Edgar Avenue, Ronceverte. The seed co-investment provides funds for working capital and capital expenditures

The WVCAP lending institutions are the state’s venture capital program West Virginia Jobs Investment Trust (WVJIT) and INNOVA Commercialization Group, a seed and early-stage investment capital program. WVCAP funds are matched by a combination of a bank loan and private investors.

GTS serves the banking, restaurant and mining industries. The company manufactures replacement parts, repairs printed circuit boards and modules and provides parts sourcing services, engineering and reverse engineering services.

Founded in 1989, GTS currently has 24 employees. The company expects to create up to 36 new jobs over the next three years. Prospective applicants may submit their resumes to Tawana Martin at tmartin@greenbrier-tech.com.

WVCAP provides capital to West Virginia small businesses to invest, expand, and create jobs. The state-run program utilizes a $13.1 million allocation of funds through the State Small Business Credit Initiative, which was created under the federal Small Business Jobs Act of 2010. WVCAP is administered by WVJIT.
