The Marion County Parks and Recreation Commission, along with a volunteer committee of local artists and business owners, will host the first annual Artist & Artisan Fair on Saturday, August 29th, 2015. The event will be held at Palatine Park in Fairmont, WV from 3-9 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
The event will include a juried fine art exhibition along with artist, artisan and food vendors from all over the state selling their wares. There will also be great live music, a Kid Zone with projects for the budding artist in the family, and a variety of entertainers roaming the crowd.
Applications are currently being accepted for artist & artisan vendors, food vendors as well as visual artists and craftspeople to participate in the juried exhibition. Deadline to apply is August 1, 2015 for all artists and vendors.
