The South Charleston Chamber of Commerce, and its Chamber members, Associated Systems Professionals (ASP) and Bluegrass E-Cycling, are hosting a Free E-Cycle Event. On Friday, September 16, 2016, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, small businesses and the community are invited to drop off their old and used electronic items to be safely recycled. The drop off location will be the parking lot at the South Charleston Community Center, located at 601 Jefferson Road in South Charleston, WV. The following items will be accepted: rechargeable batteries, cable/wire, CD’s, cell phones, circuit boards, consumer electronics, copies, CPUs, ink/toner cartridges, keyboards, laptops, computer mice, modems, flat screen computer monitors, mp3 players, network equipment, phone systems, printers, routers, satellite boxes, servers, speakers, switches, video games/consoles, UPS Units. Complimentary on-site hard drive destruction will be available. There is a strict limit of 1 (one) non-flat screen computer monitor (CRT) per car. Televisions, large household appliances, and fluorescent light bulbs will not be accepted. There is no cost to drop off materials. Bluegrass E-Cycle will be providing the recycling services.
