Lawyer Robby Aliff and United Way President Margaret O’Neal were all smiles as they proudly displayed an oversized check announcing the 2018-19 Jackson Kelly United Way campaign results. In addition to the $37,680 monetary contribution, the staff and leadership at Jackson Kelly, led by Aliff, collected over 700 books and 150 pairs of new kid’s athletic shoes for the Equal Footing Shoe Fund.
“My heart is full”, said a tearful O’Neal as she spoke to the crowd of employees who gathered to hear the final tally. “Your contribution, the books, the shoes all mean so much to our community. Just last week we had a local elementary school request 100 pairs of shoes for needy kids. The need is real. And it grows.”
