Huntington law firm Jenkins Fenstermaker, PLLC, recently announced the election of two associates, Eleni Kontos-Miller and Nate Kuratomi, to membership in the firm.

Kontos-Miller has been an associate with Jenkins Fenstermaker since 2009. Her practice concentration is in insurance defense litigation, medical malpractice defense, and insurance coverage. She is a graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law, where she earned her juris doctorate, and a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she earned her bachelor’s degree.
Kontos-Miller is admitted to the West Virginia State Bar, and admitted to practice law before the United States District Court, Southern District of West Virginia; and the United States District Court, Northern District of West Virginia. She is a member of the West Virginia and Cabell County Bar Associations, as well as the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia, a statewide organization of defense trial lawyers and corporate counsel, where she most recently served as the Chairperson of the Insurance Law Committee.
Kuratomi has been an associate with Jenkins Fenstermaker since 2006. His defends municipalities and police officers in civil rights cases and also concentrates his practice in employment litigation, deliberate intent, and premises liability/personal injury. He received his juris doctorate from The Penn State Dickinson School of Law and is a graduate of Marshall University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree.
Kuratomi is admitted to the West Virginia State Bar, and is admitted to practice law before the United States District Court,Southern District of West Virginia; United States District Court, Northern District of West Virginia; and the United States Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit. He is a member of the West Virginia Bar Associations, Defense Trial Council, and DRI.

Successful candidates are also expected to possess superior professional and personal character and judgment, and to demonstrate honesty, self-control, confidence, reliability and professional independence. They also must be highly regarded by their peers, and are encouraged to assume leadership roles in civic, religious, and charitable organizations.
